When possible, CAD formats are appreciated.
Whether you need a replacement rudder for a client, a prototype fabricated, or a production run, Phil's Foils will do their best to meet your deadlines and budget.
Here are some ideas of what I can do for you:
Foils can be provided in any stage of completion. Shaped cores have been fairly popular items for boat shops to order and finish themselves, as have foils that have been laminated but not faired and painted.
This pair of multihull foils went out in primer with final finishing to be done by the client boat shop. That daggerboard is over 8 feet in length, and both foils are done in carbon fiber over wood cores.

This pair of half-foils are plugs for a keel mold. Finished in wet sanded and buffed clear epoxy over a thin veil of fiberglass.

This plug was milled from mdf, then painted and polished. Shown next to the cored mold that was cast from it.

This rudder for a racing multihull in the 30 foot range was done as a prototype to test the design. Carbon over balsa, it came in at about 9 pounds while being engineered for 25+ knots.

This matched set of 4 centerboards and rudders was built as OEM foils for the client boatshop.
