| Emergency Rudder
This design came from a customer that needed an emergency rudder in order to pass pre-race inspection for the Transpac. The rudder itself is a foam and cedar core with several laminations of carbon fiber over it. The daggerboard style case has lots of carbon fiber reinforcement, and hangs off of a modified backstay tang on the transom. The reverse tiller uses lines to the corners of the transom for steering. |
