Daggerboard

This came from a repeat customer - last year he asked for a shaped core for his 5o5 centerboard.  And this year he requested the bottom 50 inches of the same design, but done in red cedar, for his Swift Solo.  It seems he'd been breaking the ones (three so far) that were done in carbon over foam cores from a different supplier.

The centerboard design is open in the Swift Solo class - you want it, I'll build it.

Shown here is the core ready to ship, with offcuts still attached for added protection.

Update: this design is proving popular and new daggerboards have been flying out the door!   Standard length is 60" overall.

Rudder

This is our interpretation of what the proper Swift Solo rudder should look like.   Higher aspect ratio than the 49er blade, with a nice elliptical shape.

When Bram was asked for an opinion of it fitting the class rules, he replied:
That rudder looks great and fits the rules.  I'd like for it to become our standard basic Phil's rudder for the class.
