This high performance replacement is longer than the original, measuring in at 8' in total length.
The rectangular head is suited for the stock mounting position. Alternatively you may order this with a foil section that extends the length of the centerboard (recommended) to use with modified brackets for reducing the point load on the foil when partially raised (or for in-hull mounting). You may also specify a different length if you wish.
To balance the strength/weight/cost equation this board is made in red cedar with carbon fiber unidirectionals, and fiberglass skin. Finished weight is in the low 30s (pounds). Not intended to be used at full length in a strong breeze - when the wind comes up, so should the board.
