Centerboard

This design came from a customer in California that took advantage of my willingness to deliver only a shaped core - he even shipped me his own laminated cedar plank!  (shown milled at right)

He specified a more modern cross section than the typical NACA 4-digit foil, but I can reproduce the design using any foil section that you wish.

 

Price for finished centerboard:

This one was a custom job for a boat with a narrower than normal centerboard trunk and a shorter length head on the board (finished in graphite, standard NACA00xx section):

After a year of sailing on a J105 I finally got to take my daysailer out again only this time with the special sized center board you made. The dimensions were right on, but more importantly, I have never seen this boat point so well. Thanks for taking care of my special sizing needs.

Thanks Phil,
    I was at Pacific Coast Championship last week using the new board.  It worked great.  Finished 6th out of 19.  If the wind hadn't come up hard in the last three race's we would have finished top 3. (we are not heavy weights)
