When a customer came looking for a replacement rudder for a Cheetah 30,
the boat's designer Bob Ames was kind enough to send the cad file of the
rudder design.
This one is built over a balsa core rather than the original spec. foam,
and as a one-off product with the laminate wrapping around the leading
edge, rather than the split-molded original, it should be a bit stronger
than stock. Lighter too!
A 2nd one has now been built; customer said
